Village of Scotia and Town of Glenville residents
age ten and older must provide proof of residency (a resident
identification card) in order to gain admittance to the beach free
of charge. Residents who need to acquire a identification card must
provide proof of residency, or be accompanied by a parent or
guardian who can provide proof of residency. Their is a five (5)
dollar administrative fee for a resident picture I.D. card which
is valid for a three (3) year period.
All children ages nine and younger must be
continuously attended by an adult (ON THE BEACH PROPER) in order to
gain admittance to and remain on the beach. This is a parent
responsibility NOT THE LIFEGUARDS.
