A message from Mayor Kris Kastberg

Welcome to the Village of Scotia web site. I, along with the Board of Trustees hope that this site will be useful and informative to both Village residents and potential visitors. What you see here is a first stab at providing information to the community in a format that is simple to use and easy to access. In the following weeks many features will be added to the site, so check in frequently to look for those as well as news and announcements about what is going on in the Village.

The Board of Trustees has set several priorities for the coming year. Among those are initiatives to address issues of property maintenance and street paving. We also have begun a dialog with the Town of Glenville regarding consolidation of services. Check this site frequently for updates on progress on these issues. Better yet, use the calendar to learn when our meeting are held and attend those for fist hand knowledge of Village affairs.
